Bergge Velour is a vapor-permeable decorative paint based on special pearlescent pigments designed for indoor use. Velour paint creates a stunning 3D velvet effect, transitioning from a sheen to a silky matte thanks to special pigments. Suitable for gypsum and concrete surfaces. Contains a natural wax-based retarder.
Composition: acrylic dispersion, functional additives, special effect pigments, water.
Surface preparation: The surface must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of grease, sawdust, chalk, and lime. Smooth uneven surfaces with putty. After thorough preparation, apply Bergge Grund GX primer, diluted in the appropriate ratio. After 6-8 hours, apply 1-2 coats of Bergge Intex 7 using a medium-nap roller. An intermediate coat is also available. After 6-8 hours of primer application, apply 1-2 coats of Bergge Velour (thinned with 20-40% water) using a short-nap roller. The color of the intermediate coat should match the color of the Bergge Velour topcoat. After the paint has completely dried, apply Bergge Velour.
Application Method: During storage, the material may separate, but this is not a sign of product deterioration. Stir before use, if necessary, and dilute with water to 20%. Standard Application: Apply Bergge Velour with a stainless steel trowel in a uniform layer, simultaneously creating a random pattern with the flat side of the trowel. This product can be applied using a variety of techniques. When applying Bergge Velour, use material from the same batch on a single surface. If material from different batches is available, mix it together in the amount required for a single surface (corner to corner).
Drying Time: 24 hours. Curing should be done no sooner than 28 days after application.
Tinting: Tinted using specialized equipment.
Consumption: 1 liter per 6-8 m², depending on application technique.
Solvent: Water (drinking type).
Temperature: Apply when the ambient and work surface temperature is no lower than +7°C and no higher than +25°C.
Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container at a temperature no lower than +7°C, in a dry, cool place. Protect from frost! The guaranteed shelf life is 2 years. The manufacturing date is indicated on the packaging.
