Description

Application and characteristics: Water-based acrylic panel varnish for interior and exterior use. Creates a waterproof, weather-resistant coating. It is used for decorative finishing of wooden surfaces (panels, baseboards, etc.) not subject to significant mechanical stress. Bergge Panellack can also be used for varnishing mineral substrates (concrete, brick), wallpaper, and for protecting surfaces painted with water-based paint and finished with decorative plaster. Preserves the natural texture and color of wood. Not recommended for use on windows or doors.

Composition: Acrylic dispersion, water, functional additives.

Surface preparation: The surface must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of dust and grease. Remove old varnished surfaces using coarse and fine sanding. Surfaces previously treated with water-based materials (primers, impregnations, glazes, etc.) and wooden surfaces should be sanded and then thoroughly cleaned. Do not apply acrylic products to surfaces previously treated with drying oil! For outdoor use, wooden surfaces must be treated with a wood primer. For indoor use, prime with Bergge Panellack diluted 30% with water. Mineral surfaces must be primed with Bergge Grund GX acrylic primer.

Application: Stir thoroughly before use. The material can be applied with a brush, velor roller, or spray gun. Avoid direct sunlight during application and while the varnish is drying. Avoid drafts. Depending on the properties and absorbency of the substrate, apply 2-3 coats, sanding between coats. Use fine-grit sandpaper #180-220 for sanding. Remove dust thoroughly. Drying time depends on temperature and humidity.

Temperature: Apply when the ambient and work surface temperature is no lower than +5°C and no higher than +30°C.

Solvent: Water (drinking type).

Coverage: 8-10 m²/l of a single-coat coating, depending on the wood type.

Drying time: Dust-resistant after 30 minutes; touch-resistant after 1 hour; re-coatable or sandable after 3 hours. The coating reaches its full strength after 3-4 weeks.

Gloss: Matte and glossy
Color: Transparent.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from frost! Close the container tightly after use. The warranty period is 2 years. The manufacturing date is indicated on the packaging.

Safety precautions: Work in a ventilated area, wearing protective clothing and gloves. Dispose of as household waste. Keep out of reach of children! Rinse the tool with water and clean with a household detergent.
