Application and characteristics: Ready-to-use acrylic plaster made from marble chips for creating decorative coatings for indoor building facades and basements on surfaces subject to heavy traffic. Solvent-free and odorless. The coating is washable, light-resistant, and weather-resistant.
Surface preparation: The surface must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of grease, sawdust, chalk, and lime. Loose parts of the substrate must be removed. Moisture-absorbing surfaces must be primed with Bergge acrylic primer, diluted to the appropriate ratio. To apply the intermediate adhesion layer for Mosaikputz mini, use a primer for decorative plaster in a color similar to the plaster. On monolithic concrete and other complex, non-absorbent substrates, use a special Bergge adhesion primer for applying the adhesion layer.
Application method: During storage, the material may separate, but this does not indicate product deterioration. Before applying, thoroughly mix the plaster by hand with a trowel, without using rotating mechanisms, to achieve a uniform consistency. Before applying Bergge Mosaikputz mini, mix half a container with half a further container (half a bucket with half a bucket) to ensure consistent color. The shade depends on the batch of natural stones used in the material, so samples available at retail outlets and the shade of the material may vary from batch to batch. Apply Mosaikputz mini evenly with a stainless steel trowel and level it to a layer thickness equal to 1.5 times the grain size. Do not trowel the plaster more than three times in the same direction and location. Excessive troweling may cause stains. Apply at ambient and surface temperatures of no lower than 10°C and no higher than 30°C. The room must be dry and ventilated, with humidity not exceeding 60-65%. Avoid exposure to wind, rain, and direct sunlight during application. For interior work, apply no more than 25% of the total area in a single day to prevent excessive humidity.
Drying time: 24 hours at +20°C and 60% relative humidity; drying time is significantly longer at lower temperatures and higher humidity.
Consumption: 5 kg/m² for a single coat. The exact material consumption depends on the unevenness of the substrate and the skill of the contractor.
Storage: In a tightly sealed container at a temperature not below +7°C, in a dry, cool place. Protect from frost! The guaranteed shelf life is 2 years. The manufacturing date is indicated on the packaging.
Safety precautions: Work in a ventilated area, wear work clothes, gloves, and wear respiratory and eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. Keep out of reach of children! Dispose of as household waste. Wash tools with water after use.
