Application and characteristics: Decorative plaster for creating durable, vapor-permeable coatings for both exterior and interior applications. This material creates the effect of natural stone, including marble. It adheres perfectly to all types of surfaces, including concrete, aerated concrete, cement, plaster, filler, drywall, brick, and surfaces previously painted with water-based paints.
The manufacturer defines the "Marmorino Facade" type as a decorative coating that imitates natural stone such as marble with a rough texture.
Composition: Acrylic dispersion, calcium carbonate, talc, functional additives, water.
Surface preparation: The substrate must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of grease, dust, chalk, and lime. Moisture-absorbing surfaces should be primed with Bergge Grund GX acrylic primer. For an intermediate adhesion layer, use Bergge Decogrund Maxi primer for decorative plasters. The color of the intermediate coat must match the color of the Bergge Marmorino Fasad topcoat.
Application Method: During storage, some delamination of the material is possible, but this is not a sign of product deterioration. Stir before use. Dilution is not recommended, but if necessary, thin with water (up to 10%). Apply the plaster to the primed surface in two coats, at least 8 hours apart. Apply the first coat of material, spreading it evenly over the surface or creating a slight relief for a deeper effect. After the first coat has completely dried, apply the second coat in separate strokes, leaving gaps on a flat surface (or a continuous thin coat over the relief). Then, as it dries, smooth and seal the surface with a spatula. After drying, coat the plaster with Bergge Superwax. When applying Bergge Marmorino Fasad, use material from the same batch on a single surface. If material from different batches is available, mix it together in the amount required for a single surface (from corner to corner). Apply at ambient and surface temperatures below +7°C and no higher than +30°C. Avoid exposure to wind and direct sunlight during application and drying. This product can be applied using various techniques to achieve different effects.
Drying time: 24 hours.
Tinting: Tinted using equipment using the COLOR COLLECTION system.
Consumption: 1-1.5 kg/m² when applied in one coat (depending on the application technique).
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures no lower than +7°C and no higher than +30°C. Protect from frost! Close the container tightly after use. The guaranteed shelf life is 2 years. The manufacturing date is indicated on the packaging.
Safety precautions: Work in a ventilated area, wearing protective clothing and gloves. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. Dispose of as household waste. Keep out of reach of children! Afterwards, rinse the working tool with water and clean it with a household detergent.
