Description

Application and characteristics: A white silicone primer for interior and exterior use, containing calcite, for creating a rough surface and priming surfaces under structural plaster. It ensures reliable adhesion of the plaster to the substrate. It adheres perfectly to all types of façade and interior surfaces, such as plaster, filler, drywall, concrete, foam concrete, and other mineral substrates. This water-based product is solvent-free, lime- and cement-free, and has a neutral odor. It has good adhesion, is easy to apply, dries quickly, is weather-resistant, and is vapor-permeable. It is used in insulation systems, especially those using mineral wool.

Composition: Water, styrene-acrylic copolymer dispersion, silicone emulsion, titanium dioxide, calcite, and functional additives.

Surface preparation: The substrate must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of grease, dust, chalk, lime, and other contaminants. Loose parts of the substrate must be removed. Moisture-absorbing substrates must be primed with Bergge Grund SX silicone primer. Using materials from other manufacturers before or after applying Bergge materials may cause a loss of product properties.

Application Method: During storage, the material may separate, but this is not a sign of product deterioration. Mix thoroughly before use. Apply after the substrate is fully prepared. When applying Bergge Harzgrund, use material from the same batch on a single surface. If using material from different batches, mix them together in the amount required for a single surface (from corner to corner). Apply without dilution using a roller or brush in a crisscross pattern. A spray gun can also be used. Subsequent plastering is possible after the surface has completely dried. During application and during the first 24 hours of drying, the ambient and substrate temperature should be no lower than +7°C and no higher than +30°C. Avoid exposure to wind, rain, and direct sunlight during application.

Drying time: The following materials are recommended to be applied after 6 hours (depending on temperature and humidity). Apply the next coat no later than 30 days.

Tinting: Tinted using equipment using the COLOR COLLECTION system.

Consumption: 0.3-0.35 kg/m², depending on the application method.

Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container at a temperature not lower than +7°C and not higher than +30°C, in a cool, dry place. Protect from frost! The guaranteed shelf life is 2 years. The manufacturing date is indicated on the packaging.

Safety precautions: Work in a ventilated area, wear work clothes and gloves, and wear respiratory and eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. Keep out of reach of children! Dispose of as household waste. Rinse tools with water after use. The permissible weight deviation is no more than 1.5%.
