Bergge Decogrund Mini is a white, calcite-based primer for interior and exterior use. It creates a rough surface and is ideal for priming surfaces under textured plaster and paint. It ensures reliable adhesion of the plaster to the substrate. It adheres perfectly to all types of façade and interior surfaces, such as plaster, filler, and drywall. This water-based, solvent-free primer is free of lime and cement and has a neutral odor. It has good penetration, is easy to apply, dries quickly, is weather-resistant, and is vapor-permeable.
Composition: A suspension of pigments, fillers, and functional additives in a styrene-acrylic dispersion, and water.
Surface Preparation: The substrate must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of grease, dust, chalk, lime, and other contaminants. Any loose or loose parts of the substrate must be removed. Moisture-absorbing surfaces must be primed with Bergge Grund GX acrylic primer, diluted in the appropriate ratio.
Application Method: During storage, the material may separate, but this does not indicate product deterioration. Stir before use. Apply after the surface is fully prepared. Apply undiluted with a velor roller or brush using crisscross motions. Spray application is also possible. When applying Bergge Decogrund Mini, use material from the same batch on a single surface. If using material from different batches, mix it together in the amount required for a single surface (from corner to corner). After drying, you can begin decorating the surface. Apply at temperatures no lower than +7°C and no higher than +30°C. Avoid exposure to wind, rain, and direct sunlight during application.
Drying time: 6 hours. Subsequent plastering is possible after the surface has completely dried. Apply the next coat no later than 30 days later.
Consumption: 0.07-0.25 kg/m² depending on layer thickness, absorbency, and substrate unevenness.
Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container at temperatures no lower than +7°C and no higher than +30°C, in a cool, dry place. Protect from frost! Guaranteed shelf life: 2 years.
