Application and characteristics: A white, calcite-containing primer for interior and exterior use. It creates a rough surface and is suitable for priming surfaces under structural plaster. It ensures reliable adhesion of the plaster to the substrate. It adheres perfectly to all types of façade and interior surfaces, such as plaster, filler, and drywall. This water-based product is free of solvents, lime, and cement, and has a neutral odor. It has good permeability, is easy to apply, dries quickly, is weather-resistant, and is vapor-permeable.
Composition: A suspension of pigment, fillers, and functional additives in a styrene-acrylic dispersion, and water.
Surface preparation: The substrate must be uniformly prepared, sound, dry, and free of grease, dust, chalk, lime, and other contaminants. Loose parts of the substrate must be removed. Moisture-absorbing surfaces must be primed with Bergge Grund GX acrylic primer.
Application: During storage, the material may separate, but this is not a sign of product deterioration. Stir before use. Apply after the substrate is fully prepared. Apply undiluted with a velor roller or brush using crisscross motions. Spray application is also possible. After drying, the surface can be decorated. Subsequent plaster applications are possible after the surface is completely dry. When applying Bergge Decogrund Maxi, use material from the same batch on a single surface. If material from different batches is used, mix it together in the amount required for a single surface (from corner to corner). During application and during the first 24 hours of drying, the ambient and substrate temperature should be no lower than +7°C and no higher than +30°C. Avoid exposure to wind, rain, and direct sunlight during application.
Tinting: Tinted using equipment using the COLOR COLLECTION system.
Drying time: The following materials are recommended to be applied within 6 hours, but no later than 30 days.
Consumption: 0.3-0.35 kg/m² depending on layer thickness.
Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container at a temperature not lower than +7°C and not higher than +30°C, in a dry, cool place. Protect from frost! The guaranteed shelf life is 2 years. The manufacturing date is indicated on the packaging.
Safety precautions: Work in a ventilated area, wear protective clothing and gloves, and wear respiratory and eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. Keep out of reach of children! Dispose of as household waste. Rinse tools with water after use.
The permissible weight deviation is no more than 1.5%.
